In the intro to our combined annual and sustainability report, we present some of our key figures as well as information on the Group’s structure, business model and corporate strategy. This is followed by capital market information on the performance of our shares and the company’s ownership structure. The consolidated corporate governance report outlines the rules, structures and processes that STRABAG SE has implemented in the interest of good corporate governance and is an expression of our unreserved commitment to the Austrian Code of Corporate Governance (ÖCGK).

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (EU) 2022/2464 (CSRD) entered into force and replaced the Non-Financial Reporting Directive 2014/95/EU (NFRD) on 5 January 2023. As at 4 April 2025, at the time that this sustainability report was being prepared, the CSRD had not yet been transposed into national law in Austria. The present consolidated non-financial statement – as part of the Group management report – was prepared in accordance with the Austrian Sustainability and Diversity Improvement Act (NaDiVeG) implementing Directive 2014/95/EU and covers the main sustainability matters of our company. To fulfill the reporting obligations for the fiscal year 2024 in accordance with the NaDiVeG, STRABAG has already applied the ESRS as an acknowledged framework. The sustainability report was subjected to a voluntary limited assurance engagement conducted by PwC Wirtschaftsprüfung GmbH, Vienna, to verify compliance with the CSRD requirements.

The remaining parts of the Group management report, the consolidated financial statements and the notes to the consolidated financial statements were prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), taking into account Section 245a of the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB). These sections of the report were audited by PwC Wirtschaftsprüfung GmbH, Vienna, and were awarded an unqualified audit opinion.
