ANNUAL AND SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
STRABAG achieved its best result to date in 2025, with growth driven by infrastructure construction in the areas of mobility, energy and water as well as by high-tech industrial construction. Challenges in individual markets were once again more than offset at Group level – a testament to the resilience of the integrated business model. On this basis, we are optimistic about the future and expect to see further opportunities in the infrastructure sector.
STEFAN KRATOCHWILL
In 2025, we consistently worked on implementing our Strategy 2030. Our entry into the Australian market and the expansion of our water infrastructure business were key steps in this process. At the same time, our strategy-aligned growth enabled us to achieve a strong operating performance, with new record highs in output, order backlog and EBIT margin.

PEOPLE.
planet.
Progress.
Climate neutral by 2040. To achieve this goal, we will need to reassess, rethink and redesign nearly everything related to our three key topics. Let’s get to it.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY
Three big topics. One even bigger goal.
Environment
Key action areas include a science-based pathway for reducing emissions to achieve the 1.5 °C target and the implementation of actions to promote a circular economy and biodiversity.
Social
We build for people and with people – our social action areas are designed to benefit not only our own employees, but also workers throughout our value chain as well as local communities and society in general.
Governance
Sustainable corporate governance requires clear structures, processes and responsibilities. This helps us to ensure business integrity and to identify impacts, risks and opportunities at an early stage.
