The first six months in numbers

Output volume

STRABAG SE increased its output volume by 12% in the first half of 2026. Growth was driven particularly by Germany, the United Kingdom (following among others the acquisition of Van Elle), the Czech Republic and Croatia.

EBIT

EBIT rose significantly by 35% year on year. Particularly strong earnings improvements from an already high level were achieved in the North + West segment.

Order backlog

Thanks to successful project acquisitions in Germany, the Americas, Australia, Austria and the core Eastern European markets, the order backlog once again increased substantially, rising by 27% to around € 36 billion.

Order backlog by region

The geographical distribution of the order backlog reflects STRABAG’s strong presence in Central and Eastern Europe as well as its activities in the focus markets of Australia, the United Kingdom and the Americas.
